Michael Lyon MAICD

Michael’s business leadership and experience comes from an extensive international career in Life Sciences and related healthcare industries, including the development of a successful start-up business in BI data analytics dedicated to providing smart business intelligence support for the pharmaceutical industry. 

As Regional Director in Asia Pacific for a Fortune 500 Medical Technology company, Michael was responsible for both mature and undeveloped markets throughout the region. He successfully managed key growth initiatives for several diverse businesses across his portfolio before returning to Australia as Managing Director for the Australia-New Zealand business, where he implemented several change management programs dedicated to redeveloping and globally realigning the company’s business overall.

Michael has been active in consulting, license acquisitions and new ventures in the natural health, health technology and biotech areas. He is a past member of the International Young Presidents Organisation and participated as a founding board member of the YPO WPO Greater Sydney Chapter, and his more recent education includes his second Harvard Business School Executive program and achieving a Mstrs Dip. with the Institute of Applied Psychology, Sydney.

Michael chose to participate in supporting Atomic Oncology’s commercial development and was appointed Executive Director and CEO in 2019.
